The University System of Maryland Board of Regents has appointed Aminta Hawkins Breaux as the new president of Bowie State University, effective July 1. Breaux is currently vice president for advancement at Millersville University, where she has grown the Pennsylvania school’s endowment from $30 million to $40 million.
