Maryland Secretary of Commerce Kelly Schulz has brought on two new officials in key roles to oversee business development and tourism initiatives. Signe Pringle will be an assistant secretary in the Department of Commerce overseeing business development. Former Baltimore City Police Commissioner Darryl De Sousa was sentenced to 10 months in federal prison Friday for failing to file three years of federal tax returns. De Sousa, 54, pled guilty to the charges in December. He had resigned as the city’s top cop in May 2018, days after he was charged. As part of his sentencing by U.S. District Judge Catherine C. Carr Properties is filling out The Wilson, a nearly 1 million-square-foot mixed-use project slated for delivery next summer in downtown Bethesda.
