Lockheed Martin promotes Stephanie Hill to lead corporate strategy

Lockheed Martin has promoted Stephanie C. Hill, who heads its Middle River plant, to lead the Bethesda defense giant’s global corporate strategy and business development. Pie 360 closes in Canton Crossing

Pie 360, a build-your-own pizza restaurant in Canton Crossing, has closed. Multiple posts on social media show that a “closed” sign is hanging in the window of the store. The restaurant’s space in the shopping center is also being actively marketed. A brochure from the Segall Group shows Pie 360’s 3,000-square-foot is currently available for sublease. Maryland sees more than 42 million visitors in 2016

Tourism in Maryland grew faster than the national rate last year, though the pace of that growth slowed slightly, a new report shows. More than 42 million people visited the state in 2016 — a 4 percent increase over 2015 — according to a study released Wednesday by the Maryland Office of Tourism Development. Candlewood Suites coming to long-vacant downtown building

A 102-room Candlewood Suites is coming to a long-vacant building downtown along Charles Street. Sunset Hotel Group is planning to convert the 12-story building at 101 N. Charles St. into a hotel.
