UMMS adopts new conflict of interest, amid Healthy Holly fallout
The University of Maryland Medical System Board of Directors voted unanimously to approve a new conflict of interest policy, following public and legislative calls for reform. The new policy, effective July 1, comes in response to months of controversy and new legislation passed in the General Assembly, calling for major reforms to the board of the nonprofit health system. BSO musicians call on Gov. Hogan to release $1.6M for orchestra, stop cuts
