Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. has acquired Tennis Media Co. in an $8 million deal aimed at growing the Tennis Channel. The deal has an additional $6 million earn-out potential “based on certain contingencies” which were not disclosed. Sinclair plans to combine Tennis Media Co. which owns Tennis.com and Tennis Magazine, with the Tennis Channel to make it the media hub for the entire sport.
