The University of Maryland Medical Center has won state regulatory approval to build a new 10-story, $56 million patient care center at its Midtown campus. The 200,000-square-foot project will be located at 806 Linden Ave., at the site of the current Gatch Building, which is scheduled for demolition in spring 2017.
