Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. shares were up more than 4 percent in trading Wednesday morning after a report said it approached Tribune Media Co. about a possible combination. Citing unnamed sources, Reuters reports Hunt Valley-based Sinclair (NASDAQ: SBGI) has expressed interest in acquiring the Chicago media company. Sinclair could also look at buying parts of Tribune, such as its CW broadcast stations, the WGN America cable network or the Tribune’s stake in the Food Network, the report says.…
