A new farmers market is cropping up this summer at Open Works in the city’s Greenmount West neighborhood. Baltimore residents Sache Jones and Myeasha Taylor formed the Two Moons Food Group that focuses on sustainability in farming and the local food economy. Tisha Edwards, chief of staff to Mayor Catherine Pugh, is stepping down from the role to become president of an education technology startup. The University System of Maryland Board of Regents has appointed Aminta Hawkins Breaux as the new president of Bowie State University, effective July 1. Breaux is currently vice president for advancement at Millersville University, where she has grown the Pennsylvania school’s endowment from $30 million to $40 million. After 26 years in downtown Baltimore, Mediterranean restaurant Cypriana is closing its most recent kiosk location and will focus on the recently opened full-service restaurant in Roland Park.
