Renowned culinary school in Gaithersburg abruptly closes its doors

Gaithersburg’s L’Academie de Cuisine, a beloved cooking school that was rooted in the French culinary tradition, abruptly closed Friday after 41 years in operation. According to The Washington Post, the closure of the renowned institution came as a result of low enrollment and financial troubles.
