Baltimore food truck owners win challenge over 300-foot rule

A Baltimore City Circuit judge ruled Wednesday that the city cannot enforce a law limiting where food trucks can operate, saying the ordinance lacked clarity. The City Council passed a bill in 2014 preventing mobile vendors from operating within 300 feet of any brick-and-mortar business that offers the same food or service.
