Hogan plans to eliminate or change 657 regulatory rules recommended by commission

Gov. Larry Hogan said Thursday his administration will repeal or alter 657 regulations that he considers to be outdated. Among the regulations being eliminated, 224 are “obsolete or redundant” Department of Health regulations. Another regulation being repealed is a $500 fee previously charged by the Maryland Transportation Authority to towing companies that are applying for a permit.
