City touts increased security measures ahead of New Year's Eve

As Baltimore prepares to welcome New Year’s Eve revelers Sunday, city officials say they’re beefing up security measures downtown and throughout the city. Police plan to increase the number of uniformed officers downtown, set up traffic barricades and use Baltimore’s CitiWatch camera system to monitor the area for activity, Police Commissioner Kevin Davis said Thursday.
