Stewart Greenebaum, developer and philanthropist, dies

Stewart J. Greenebaum, a prolific developer and donor who gave millions to Baltimore-area institutions, died Sunday. He was 81. Greenebaum was behind such mixed-use projects as Maple Lawn and Shipley’s Grant, both in Howard County. His company, Greenebaum and Rose Associates, also developed residential communities across the region, spanning from Pikesville to Pasadena.
