Randy Day has been named the new CEO of Perdue Farms, making him just the fourth person to lead the 97-year-old Salisbury chicken producer. Day, a 36-year veteran of the company, had been chief operating officer since May 2016. He succeeds Jim Perdue, who will remain chairman and brand spokesperson for the privately held $6.5 billion company.
