Williams Scotsman pays $235M for Towson firm in first deal since going public

Less than two weeks after returning to public trading, Williams Scotsman is acquiring a rival Baltimore company. WillScot Corp., the holding company for Baltimore-based Williams Scotsman, has agreed to purchase Towson-based Acton Mobile from Prophet Equity for $235 million. The all-cash deal is expected to close by the year’s end.
