Johns Hopkins Health System taps Duke University Hospital CEO as next president

Kevin W. Sowers, an experienced clinician, educator and hospital CEO from Duke University in North Carolina, has been appointed as the second president of the Johns Hopkins Health System and executive vice president of Johns Hopkins Medicine. Sowers, 56, replaces Ronald R. Peterson, who held the role for 44 years and is retiring this year.
