UMMS takes critical step toward building a new Prince George's hospital

University of Maryland Medical System assumed ownership over Dimensions Healthcare System on Friday, a major milestone in a yearslong battle to secure funding and state approvals to build a new $543 million state-of-the-art teaching hospital in Prince George’s County.
