Salisbury University president to step down after 18 years

Salisbury University President Janet Dudley-Eshbach plans to step down from the job, effective June 30, after 18 years. Dudley-Eshbach was appointed Salisbury’s eighth president in 2000, becoming the first female to be in the role at the public Eastern Shore university. In a letter to the campus community, she said she will not be retiring, but intends to return as an active member of the faculty beginning in the 2019-2020 academic year.
