Chet Burrell is retiring as president and CEO of CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, the region’s largest health insurer, after 10 years in the role. Burrell will leave his post in mid-2018. The nonprofit’s board of directors will launch a nationwide search for Burrell’s replacement.
