Chaps Pit Beef, the famous roadside eatery on Pulaski Highway, has signed a deal in Frederick to open its first franchised location. The 2,000-square-foot restaurant will be located in the new Westview South mixed-use development off Buckeystown Pike near Interstate 270. Bob Creager, the owner of Chaps, said construction on the space is expected to begin by Thanksgiving with a targeted open date of spring.
