Inside Pompeian's new olive oil testing facility in East Baltimore

Given that Pompeian produces thousands of gallons of vinegar and olive oil daily, it seems silly to stress over an ounce or two. But that’s what scientists in the 111-year-old company’s new research and development facility do everyday. Baltimore-based Pompeian is preparing to open a 4,500-square-foot testing facility, where samples of olive oil are tested before hitting store shelves.
