'It's a big relief that it is gone,' bystander says of a Confederate statue in Wyman Park

Larry Wallace brought his 7-year-old daughter Makenzie to Wyman Park Wednesday morning to see what he considered history in the making. Just getting ready to enter first grade, Wallace said that he hoped she could spread the word to her friends about witnessing the aftermath of the removal of a statue of Confederate leaders Thomas Jonathan “Stonewall” Jackson and Robert E.
