Tourism in Maryland grew faster than the national rate last year, though the pace of that growth slowed slightly, a new report shows. More than 42 million people visited the state in 2016 — a 4 percent increase over 2015 — according to a study released Wednesday by the Maryland Office of Tourism Development.
