First of many new city schools opens in East Baltimore under $1.1B push

With gratitude, cheers, dancing and hope for the future, the new Fort Worthing Elementary and Middle School opened Wednesday, the first in an ambitious $1.1 billion school construction program in Baltimore that will upgrade and rebuild up to 28 schools.
