The worst traffic bottlenecks in Greater Baltimore

This will come as no surprise to regular Baltimore commuters, but Interstate 695 near Woodlawn has the worst stretch of traffic in the area. Of the 25 stretches of road that see the most cars per day in Greater Baltimore, 12 of them are located on the inner and outer loops of the Baltimore Beltway. The 0.4-mile stretch of I-695 southbound between Security Boulevard and Interstate 70 alone sees 216,280 cars per day, according to data from the Maryland Department of Transportation. Above, you…
