Hopkins-born venture aims to use ultrasound technology to treat brain tumors

A pair of entrepreneurs from Johns Hopkins are working to develop technology that can use sound waves to treat brain tumors. Amir Manbachi, associate director of the Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design at Hopkins, and Nao J. Gamo, a researcher who specializes in neuroscience, have partnered to build on an idea that was born at Hopkins.
