AAA says more Americans willing to ride in self-driving vehicles

AAA’s annual study showed 63 percent of U.S. drivers said they were scared to ride in a fully self-driving car, as compared to 78 percent who said they were afraid in early 2017. Male and millennial drivers are the most trusting of autonomous cars. Only half reported they would fear riding in a self-driving vehicle. “Exposure to the technologies has likely helped ease fears, especially among millennials who are nearly 20 percent less skittish about autonomous vehicles than baby boomers,”…
