Southwest CEO on recent incidents: 'We need to work hard to gain our customers' trust'

Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly weighed in on recent incidents involving the company’s fleet Wednesday after a shareholders’ meeting in Annapolis, saying the past few weeks have been a “somber time” but that the airline continues to fill flights. “I think we’ve been very gratified with the kind of support we’ve gotten from our customers,” Kelly said. “We need to work hard to earn our customers’ trust every single day.
