I’m sick of hearing people talk about moving the Preakness Stakes from Pimlico. Every year around the time of the race the question is asked: Will the Preakness relocate to Laurel? The racetrack needs to be renovated, there’s no doubt about that. And I understand the $300 million-plus price tag is big. But as a sports fan and someone who loves Baltimore, I ask, why isn’t it worth it? Let’s stop talking about why Pimlico can’t or shouldn’t be fixed and start discussing why it should.…
