Forestry company buys Columbia office building for $5 million

A forestry products company has paid $5 million for an office building off Routes 32 and 29 in Columbia. Brinklow Properties, an affiliate of American Wood Fibers, purchased the building at 9740 Patuxent Woods Drive from Connecticut-based Greenfield Partners. AWF will occupy 18,500 square feet in the 38,292-square-foot, single-story flex building Chesapeake Lighting occupies 13,000 square feet at the Woods at Broken Land, leaving roughly 6,000 square feet vacant.
