Hogan eliminates all fees for EZ-Pass transponders

Gov. Larry Hogan announced the elimination of all fees for owning an EZ-Pass transponder ahead of Memorial Day weekend. Effective Wednesday, Hogan said the Maryland Transportation Authority will no longer charge a $7.50 fee to new E-ZPass customers. The agency will also replace nearly 400,000 aged transponders that are currently in circulation at no cost.
