AT&T retail stores closed in more than two dozen states, including Maryland, over the weekend as more than 37,000 workers walked off the job. The Communication Workers of America is calling it “likely the largest national retail strike in US history.” The closed stores stretched from New York to California, although much of the southern part of the country, including Texas, was not involved.
