McCormick & Co. Inc. said Tuesday the appointment of former Kraft Foods Group CEO Tony Vernon to its board of directors. Vernon was chosen for his “deep consumer products industry expertise,” McCormick CEO Lawrence Kurzius said in a statement. Vernon stepped down as CEO of food conglomerate in 2014, but remained with Kraft as a senior adviser and executive director until April 2015.
