University of Baltimore's student incubator revamped to encourage 'entrepreneurs to be more collaborative'

The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation has been producing student and alumni-run startups since it launched at the University of Baltimore in 2006. The center housed 12 startups last year, and companies and entrepreneurs brought in a total of about $1.4 million in revenue. But John Zuknick, manager of Center for Entrepreneurship, realized the workspace available to student entrepreneurs was not conducive to the kind of collaborative, open environment he thought they needed to grow.
