Small businesses have been growing across the country — but not as quickly in Baltimore

The best breeding grounds for small businesses? Look no further than the American South and Southwest. Texas and Florida are home to nine of the 10 U.S. metros that boasted the fastest small-business growth rates between 2010 and 2014, according to a new American City Business Journals analysis of U.S. Census data.
