Plenty of questions still surround blocked overtime pay law

Many employers modified pay rates, altered job responsibilities, switched formerly salaried employees to hourly, or restructured their workforce to meet the anticipated Dec. 1 revision in overtime requirements by the Department of Labor. Others took no action, opting instead for the wait-and-see approach. Now, businesses in the do-something and do-nothing camps are wondering what to do and what not to after a federal judge in Texas decided Nov. 22 to grant a nationwide injunction blocking the overtime…
