More support bubbled up for Maryland brewers ahead of a hearing Friday afternoon on dueling proposals to change the state’s brewery regulations. Comptroller Peter Franchot said more than 9,000 people have signed a petition backing the Reform on Tap Act, the legislative package he proposed that has won the support of many of the state’s breweries.
