Starbucks settles lawsuit with nation's largest mall operator over Teavana closures

Starbucks has settled a lawsuit with the nation’s largest mall operator over the coffee company’s closure of Teavana Stores. Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group Inc. filed a lawsuit in August after Seattle-based Starbucks announced plans to close all 379 Teavana stores by this spring, alleging the closures would violate Starbucks’ leases in Simon malls.
