Port Covington developer 'optimistic' after Baltimore misses cut for Amazon HQ2

Baltimore’s bid for Amazon.com’s HQ2 project centered around Port Covington, the 235-acre planned mixed-use development in South Baltimore. On Thursday, the online retail giant named 20 cities and jurisdictions as finalists for the development, with Baltimore not making the cut.
