Darryl DeSousa, Baltimore’s new police commissioner, said Friday he has been given one directive by Mayor Catherine Pugh: reduce violence. DeSousa was introduced by Pugh on Friday after the mayor announced earlier in the day she fired Kevin Davis from the role.
