Jewish school plans Baltimore's first kosher 'Chopped'-style competition

A take on the popular “Chopped” cooking competition is coming to Baltimore, but with a twist: all the dishes must be kosher. In an effort to raise money for scholarships, the Cheder Chabad Jewish school in Park Heights is putting on the city’s first-ever “Charm City Kosher Cooking Competition” modeled on the Food Network show, which asks contestants to assemble dishes using a basket of mystery ingredients unveiled at the beginning of each challenge.
