Baltimore startup Snag-A-Slip raises $4.8 million

Baltimore startup Snag-A-Slip has raised $4.8 million to ramp up sales and marketing and develop new product features. Claritas Capital led the Series A financing round for the online boat slip reservation company. TCP Venture Capital, Towne Park Founder Jerry South and the Abell Foundation also participated. Two-year-old Snag-A-Slip works with a network of 500 marinas, from Canada to the Caribbean. The company, founded in Annapolis in 2015, connects boaters with available slips through its website…
