The Enoch Pratt Central Library is over 85 years old, but on Saturday the historic landmark will host its first-ever grand opening celebration. When it opened in 1933 during the Great Depression there wasn’t enough money to throw a celebration, so Baltimore’s library system is doing it up big this weekend as it debuts a massive three-year, $115 million renovation.
