Baltimore police chief says he wants to protect gains in tourism

The number of visitors to Baltimore continued to tick upward last year — and the police department is working with tourism officials to help protect those gains. The city drew 26.7 million visitors in 2018, a 2% increase over the year before, according to the latest data from Visit Baltimore.
