The Downtown Partnership of Baltimore has tapped local CEO Shelonda Stokes as its new board chair. She will replace Dr. Jay Perman, president of the University of Maryland, Baltimore, who served in the role for six years. The change in leadership was immediate, going into effect on July 22 after the board elected her to the position.
