Maryland Symphony Orchestra hires new executive director

The Maryland Symphony Orchestra has tapped the executive director of the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra to be its next leader. Jonathan Parrish will join the MSO is mid-November after six years as executive director of the Hawaii orchestra. Parrish first moved to Hawaii from Washington, D.C. in 1998, where he joined the Honolulu Symphony, playing in the french horn section.
