Laureate Education Inc. reported a $103.5 loss in the third quarter despite a 6 percent increase in revenue. The Baltimore-based network of for-profit universities said the third quarter represents a large enrollment intake period, but is seasonally low from an earnings perspective because many of its institutions are out of session during a portion of the period.
