UnitedHealthcare testing new customer service program in Maryland

UnitedHealthcare is testing a new customer service pilot program in Maryland, part of an attempt to help consumers get a better grasp on their insurance plans and health care options. The company is the second-largest health insurer in Maryland and operates in the small group market, with a market share of 17 percent, according to data from the Kaiser Family Foundation.
