Greater Baltimore’s six biggest banks remained the same while there was some shifting among community banks, according to the latest market-share data released by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Bank of America continues to hold the top spot, with $19 billion in local deposits and a 27 percent market share. M&T Bank, the area’s second-largest bank closed the gap slightly.
