McCormick & Co. Inc.’s third-quarter earnings rose 31 percent on rising sales from recent acquisitions, topping expectations set by Wall Street. The Sparks-based spice maker reported earnings of $127.7 million, or $1 per share, for the quarter ending Aug. 31. That’s up from $97.6 million, or 76 cents per share, in the year-ago period. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial Network predicted earnings of 94 cents per share. The increase was largely due to a 3 percent rise in sales from last year.…
